Hermia

Elyan began acting at the age of nine and has been hooked on the stage ever since. She is no stranger to Shakespeare, having previously performed as Katherine in Henry V and Desdemona in Othello. Along the way, she also played Eurydice in a modern adaptation of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Miss Prym in the stage adaptation of Paulo Coelho's "the Devil and Miss Prym". With HEA, she previously appeared in Once upon a Mattress (ensemble) and Shrek the Musical (Fairy Godmother).

Originally from Maastricht, Elyan moved to Amsterdam to pursue a PhD in Forensic Psychology. Her fascination with the human mind continues to shape her approach to storytelling on stage.

Lysander

Lynn has been involved in (musical) theatre since a very young age, with credits both on- and backstage. She's thrilled to have been active within the Amsterdam theatre communities for the past 2.5 years. In 2025 she had the pleasure of playing 'The Fool' in 'Wyrd Sisters' and 'Abigail' in 'the Crucible'. She's thrilled to tackle her first Shakespearean role in this production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.

Helena

Marryl is a Canadian performer now living in Amsterdam. She fell in love with theatre at a young age through summer camp and school plays, and continued on to achieve a Bachelor's in Theatre and Drama from the University of Toronto. Upon moving to Amsterdam in 2025, she has been thrilled to find such an amazing English theatre community to be a part of. Recent Amsterdam credits include Pauline Wetherby in Yellow Iris (In Players) and Estelle Rigault in Behind Closed Doors (Glassbead Theatre). She is so grateful to Happily Ever After for giving her the opportunity to return to her love of performing Shakespeare on stage.

Demetrius

Dano takes to the stage as Demetrius: a gentleman of Athens whose confidence is far more consistent than his affections. With a background in ballroom dance, Dano fell in love with theatre during his recent role as Lord Farquaad in HEA’s Shrek the Musical—no magic potions involved, or so he thinks. He looks forward to the challenge of this production, trading ballads and Duloc dancers for Shakespearean verse and mischievous fairies.

Theseus, King of Athens

Shiro been acting professionally since 2013. She started out in Nairobi, Kenya where she born and raised. While there she worked in several TV shows, short films, Made-For-TV films and adverts. She then went on to study theatre in Paris at Cours Florent. Since moving to the Netherlands, she have been active in the English-speaking theatre scene first with Orange Theatre Company and in 2022 decided to try her luck with musicals. She’s been in Cinderella (Madame), A Chorus Line (Zach), Blood Brothers (Linda), Once Upon A Mattress (Queen Aggravain) Avenue Q (Gary Coleman). Safe to say she fully caught the musical theatre bug. She has also taken the plunge into the world of Intimacy Direction and Coordination teaching actors and productions alike to navigate the world of staged intimacy. She was Intimacy Coordinator for Constellations as well as Heathers in which she also doubled up as Assistant Director. She took on these two roles again with Spring Awakening. She speaks English, Swahili, Dutch and has forgotten most of her French.

Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons

Claire trained with Mulholland Academy, Shakespeare’s Globe and very recently with RADA under their Classical Actor course.

Originally from the UK, Claire moved to the Netherlands 10 years ago to escape the perils of Brexit. Her first professional production was in the West End tour of The Woman in Black. She then joined the ensemble touring company Mad Dogs and Englishmen where she played Luciana in The Comedy of Errors, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Angelique in The Hypochondriac, Ophelia in Hamlet and Rosalind in As You Like It. She was lucky enough to tour at some of the UK’s most beautiful venues including The Minack Theatre in Cornwall, upstaged by dolphins is no great hardship! She has also played Magdelena in The House of Bernada Alba, Maxine in Stepping Out (where her love of tap dancing flourished), various roles in The Canterbury Tales, Kate in She Stoops to Conquer, Abigail in The Crucible, Jessica in The Merchant of Venice, Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Rosaline in Loves Labours Lost.

In the Netherlands, Claire has played Medea in Ludicrum United’s production of the same name, and most recently Olivia in We Love Shakespeare Ensemble’s production of Twelfth Night. 

In 2023 she set up her own theatre company, The Classical Theatre Company, playing Winnie in Samuel Beckett’s incredible play Happy Days and in 2024 she directed and produced The Woman in Black in Rotterdam. 

She is a passionate about all things Shakespeare - in fact this will be her fourth A Midsummer Night’s Dream and her first show with Happily Ever After Productions.

Peter Quince | Technical Director

Originally from Curacao, Ivo has been pursuing his passion for musical theater from a young age. After playing the Cello in Into the Woods (2015), he made his first debut with Grease! as Roger (2016); and the rest was history! He has since been in Fiddler on the Roof as Fyedka (2021), The Addams Family Musical as Gomez (2023), and made his HEA debut with Shrek The Musical as Papa Bear/Ogre (2026).

Outside of performing, he spends time working as the Set Designer for HEA’s Spring Awakening, Light Designer for an upcoming Hamilton production, and works behind the scenes for Stage Entertainment.

This is Ivo’s first time performing in a non-musical production—A new challenge he is (cautiously) optimistic about! He’s been practicing his iambics…

Nick Bottom

Nick is a dancer from Portland, Oregon, USA. He trained at the University of Oregon and worked professionally in London, UK for 3 years. Recently he has played Cyrano de Bergerac in Cyrano De Bergerac (English Theater Utrecht), Carrot in Guards! Guards! (English Theater Utrecht), the White Rabbit in Shrek: The Musical (Happily Ever After) as well as King Sextimus in Once Upon a Mattress (Happily Ever After) and has also performed in both Confidential Musical Theater Projects (The Cauldron). He loves improvisation, singing, and the Meisner acting technique and is currently training in all three in Amsterdam.

Francis Flute

Yann has been part of the Amsterdam English and French theater communities for a decade. You may have seen him onstage (Titanica, She Kills Monsters, Spamalot) but you'd have mostly found him in the lighting booth during the last couple of years (A Chorus Line, Spelling Bee, Heathers). He is genuinely excited to be yet again back onstage for HEA's A Midsummer Night's Dream!

Snug

Long time Shakespeare reader, first time actor, August is excited to debut on the stage with Happily Ever After Productions in the role of Snug. Aside from literature and acting, they enjoy dancing, astrology, and queer history.

Robin Starveling

Trevor is excited to make his first appearance with HEA, marking his return to the stage after a 13 year hiatus. After spending the past decade focusing on his engineering career, he is thrilled to be back in the theatre and looks forward to the new friendships and memories he knows will be created at HEA. He would like to thank his beautiful and supportive wife, Madi, for being an exceptional partner to run lines with and for putting up with all the acting, singing, and dancing that have taken over their home and spare time. He also extends his thanks to their four cats (Sailor, Luna, Sango, and Samwise), three geckos (Tonks, Tigger, and Raven), and one python (Stevie Snakes) for being the cutest, cuddliest, and occasionally fiercest scene partners anyone could ask for.

Tom Snout

Chris considers theatre to be a major fixture in their life, having a robust history as an amateur actor. They have built on a foundation of comedic and musical roles, most notably performing as a load-bearing component of "The Cabinet of Madame Fanny du The" in 2018-2019. More recently you may have seen their constructions featured as the set for "She Kills Monsters" in 2024, or their performance as the solid Herrick in "The Crucible" in 2025. Chris is firm and resolute in their determination to do the part of Snout justice, and they can only hope that their performance holds up.

Snout

A software engineer and public speaker by trade, Lian is no stranger to the stage. After years of working for Silicon Valley startups, she has found her calling: Introducing the beauty and impermanence of performance art to the tech industry. As Chief Karaoke Officer, she is the creator of “Kuberoke” a one-of-a-kind social event, bringing the joy of karaoke to technology conferences.
Previously, Lian understudied as Lancelot in Monty Python's Spamalot (HEA) and appeared as ensemble member in Rodger & Hammerstein's Cinderella (HEA) and Once Upon A Mattress (HEA).
She can also be seen performing (musical) improv theatre and standup comedy in and around Amsterdam.

Oberon

Casey is an American actor living in Amsterdam and has worked on stage and in front of the camera for many years. Starting at the age of four in Alice in Wonderland, Casey fell in love with theater. He has a degree in Theater Arts and is also a graduate from the Pacific Conservatory Theater. Shakespeare has always been a passion of his but most recently you could see him as Shrek in Shrek: The Musical with Happily Ever After Productions. He has also been performing with Orange Theater Company here in Amsterdam since 2019 with Noises Off as well as A Christmas Carol and The Dutchman.

Puck

Drawn to characters who blur boundaries and stir a little trouble, Franck is excited to take on the role of the mischievous Puck.

After singing as Cagelle Chantal in La Cage aux Folles (2024), as Pinocchio in Shrek, the Musical (2026), and occasionally performing as drag alter ego Jenda Benda, he continues to explore performance through androgyny, transformation and a sparkling wink of seduction.

This marks Franck's stage play debut, naturally beginning with Shakespeare and a tasteful dose of emotional chaos.

Titania

Camille, originally from the US, works in tech as a UX consultant by day. She spends all her hours outside of work dedicated to the Amsterdam theatre community, whether that be producing, directing, handling marketing and PR, helping run theatre companies, promoting local shows on her radio show Onstage Amsterdam (BRAM RADIO), or her favorite thing of all, performing. In the past few years, Camille has been seen as Fiona in Shrek the Musical (HEA), Heather Chandler in Heathers (HEA), Kristine in A Chorus Line (HEA), Roxie Hart in Chicago (HEA), Lisa in Next Thing You Know (Cauldron), Schwartzy in Spelling Bee (Cauldron), Emcee in Cabaret (QETC), Kate Monster in Avenue Q (HEA), The Little Mermaid in Disenchanted! (Cauldron), Deb in Ordinary Days (HEA), and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (HEA).

First Fairy

Juami works as a scientist and fitness instructor, and spends most of her free time dancing, acting and singing. She loves summer and will try to catch every ray of sunshine this country gets. After joining several HEAP bootcamps, she made her debut in Once Upon a Mattress last year as Lady Merrill. Juami has since choreographed HEAP’s Wicked bootcamp and Avenue Q. She most recently joined the cast of Shrek as Tinkerbell and assistant choreographer, and is very excited to be a part of Midsummer night's dream, which will be her first time performing Shakespeare.

Mustardseed

From one fantastical world to the next, Kirsten flutters across the stage once more! After being a part of both She Kills Monsters and Wyrd Sisters, she is back to take on the role of Mustardseed. Safe to say she is fairy excited to be a part of this show!

Peaseblossom

Anna is a veterinary student who lives, sleeps and breathes musical theatre. After 9 years of doing theatre on the side she took a gap year to fully focus on a musical theatre preporatory program and volunteering at a local cat shelter, serenading the cats with the 1000+ showtunes in her playlist while cleaning their enclosures. This doesn't mean Anna shies away from non-musical plays, especially if its Shakespeare! After portraying a silent but surprisingly strong knight in Once Upon a Mattress (HEA) and the Shoemaker's Elf and Teen Fiona in Shrek (HEA), Anna is very excited to create some chaos in the background in this forest!

Cobweb

Noemi is a performer with a deep passion for musicals and theatre. Trained in Musical Theatre at Zangschool Rotterdam, has appeared in productions in Rome such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Georgie (original cast recording), and attended several theatre courses, exploring character-driven storytelling and ensemble work.

By day, she researches brain MRI as an applied physicist—by night, she trades scanners for stage lights, bringing curiosity, precision, and a touch of mischief to every performance.

Moth

Kyra was seen in the Cauldron’s production of “She Kills Monsters” and is looking forward to being a part of Midsummer Night’s Dream!

Fairy

Sutton (9) has been a lover of the stage since age three and is a proud returning member of the HEA family. She previously appeared in Shrek the Musical (Young Fiona) and Once Upon a Mattress (Frog), for which she won the 2025 BroadwayWorld Netherlands Award for Best Supporting Performer in a Musical. In addition to her stage roles, Sutton has appeared on NPO Zapp and lent her voice to various acting projects. When she isn't fluttering through the Athenian woods, this "Fairy" can be found on the football pitch, at the piano, or singing Taylor Swift at the top of her lungs. Sutton is thrilled to be part of this magical Dream!

Fairy

After seeing Be More Chill on stage and getting to know so many people, she knew one thing for sure: that she wanted to help with the next shows coming.

And that’s where her story starts. From helping with the social media of the shows: Cinderella, Spamalot, Blood Brothers, Once Upon a Mattress, Avenue Q and Shrek. She really has found her place and can’t wait to see what the future holds next.

She is really thankful for this opportunity and for the amazing friends she met through the shows and can’t wait to finally make her stage debut with A Midsummer Nights Dream.

Egeus

Omar is a half Egyptian half Dutch actor with several years of experience in theater and film. He most recently worked with different English speaking theater groups in Amsterdam and step by step finding his way and place within the whole acting world.

Philostrate

Marc started his theatrical journey as set designer for HEAP’s Into The Woods, and has kept designing them for most of their shows. He also appears on stage from time to time. First as various characters in Working, as Trekkie Monster in Avenue Q, the Black Knight in Spamalot and King Sextimus in Once Upon A Mattress. When he’s not doing theater related stuff, he works as a freelance animator and illustrator, and on his own online animated series, which can be found at @cracklewoodforest on most social media sites.
